  • Respond to incoming phone, email, and walk-in customers
  • Process quotes and sales orders
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Track orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide new product or event information to existing customers
  • Process credit card transactions
  • Assisting with Tenders
  • Cross-train for processing service orders
  • Development and implementation of company marketing initiatives including a new CRM
  • Lead Generation and Opportunity analysis
  • Support Sales Manager on sales-related projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 or more years in a sales environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel & Outlook, and preferably Access.
  • Ability to learn new software programs.
  • Ability to learn and understand product applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing existing accounts while identifying and growing new business.

To do this you will interact with internal and external associates to support and fulfill our customer needs. A proven sales track record with strong territory management skills is required. You will be responsible for introducing new products and equipment to current customers and have a strong aptitude for presenting and demonstrating. You will have the ability to organize and prioritize your time between post-sale follow-up, new account development, demonstrations, and ongoing customer support. Effective use of technology to communicate and manage data is essential.

Job Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing Customers. This includes equipment demos, light servicing, product information and acting as a liaison with our Service Technicians and Sales Team.

Travel is required for this position

At times you will work at the customer’s facility, to provide program maintenance and may need to troubleshoot, and accurately diagnose equipment issues, and determine what is needed to get the equipment running again. Customers will rely on you for advice on products and equipment.

  • Provide Demo’s of Cleaning Equipment and information on Cleaning Products offered
  • Troubleshoot Tennant machines and refer if required to our Service Technicians
  • Arrange customer calls in the office
  • Available in Branch to help enter orders/quotes if needed
  • Handle Deliveries as required
  • Responsible for introducing new products and/or equipment to Customers and promote Sales
  • Estimate machine repair requirements and prepare necessary data for repairs
  • Partner and assisting with our Outside Sales Consultants and Service Technicians in regard to potential customer applications for both product and equipment
  • Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment
