Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for growing the territory and meeting existing customer needs through analyzing purchase patterns and recommending additional products or services to new and existing customers. In addition to these responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Works with chemical, equipment, and janitorial suppliers and their sales reps in the sales field to generate sales.
- Make a minimum of 10 face-to-face calls with customers and prospects (minimum 2 prospect calls per day).
- Prospect, qualify, present and close new business.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts by presenting new products to decision makers.
- Educates, demonstrates, trains and close deals on W.E. Greer chemicals, products, services, and Tennant equipment.
- Work with vendor representatives, Sales Manager, inside sales, marketing and service to grow sales.
- Leverage company’s CRM system to capture information utilize the information to increase competitive advantage.
- Use phone, email and online marketing techniques to generate leads and convert to sales.
- Quote products, run reports and provide data to customers utilizing ERP system.
- Works with Strategic Customers in the territory. This may include surveying new facilities and making solution recommendations to grow Strategic Customers through face-to-face interaction with site managers, purchasing, and business owners.
- Provide value-added services to existing and prospective customers such as product training, safety training, consumption reporting & product recommendations.
- Installs sold equipment through on-site training with customers.
- Manage conflict and day-to-day customer issues in the assigned territory.
- Continually present our solutions to the customer base, maintaining existing customer base.
- Executes sales strategy in the assigned geography as directed by the Sales Manager.
- Implement and build success with W.E. Greer marketing plan & specials
- Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company assets
Qualifications and Skills
- Two or more years in a similar environment.
- Ability to sell and demonstrate drive in gaining new business and new customers.
- Solid business acumen, and knowledge of the sales process; track record of sales success.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn company’s ERP and CRM systems.
- Ability to learn and understand product applications.
- Exceptional organization and prioritization skills along with strong negotiating skills.
- Proficient at interacting with people at all levels of an organization.
- Must meet physical requirements of the position including ability to hook up trailer and load demonstration gear.
- Ability to “think” on your feet and make value added decisions with minimal direction.
Compensation ($48k/year to 120k/year) and Benefits
- Competitive draw against commission $48k/year with a six month’s guaranteed draw amount.
- 30% commission on gross margin on new business accounts acquired for the first 24 months, then commission on those acquired accounts:
- 20% for months 25 to 36
- 10% for months 37 to 48
- 7.5% after 48 months
- 7.5% commission on gross margin on Legacy/existing business accounts given from the company to the TSR to manage and grow.
- Bonuses on KPIs (key performance indicators) to be determined.
- Two weeks’ vacation (prorated in the year employment commences).

W.E. Greer Ltd., a leading Alberta manufacturer and supplier of commercial cleaning supplies and equipment is looking for a Business Analyst coordinator
This individual will be analyzing the effectiveness of business operations and working on special projects companywide.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the analysis of logistics (freight) and procurement on a company-wide basis.
- Coordinate RFP (request for proposal) from existing and potential customers for Sales Manager
- Coordinate contract pricing with existing customers
- Complete pricing analysis and market research for existing products and services
- Coordinate Tennant relationship (POP claims, pricing, etc.)
- Analyze customers’ consumption, extrapolate, and provide recommendation
- Prepare and distribute internal and external announcements
- Design and manage business cards
- Prepare and submit claim supports for vendors
- Coordinate and organize all tradeshow and brand events (registration, communication, planning, administration, etc.)
- Coordinate training both for internal and external stakeholders
- Generate and manage sales and market reporting
- Assist AR and HR when required
- Manage internal supplies inventory
- Manage the relationship with the outsourced stakeholders (IT, Marketing, etc.)
- Special projects as required (ie. CRM, training, etc.)
Requirements:
- Strong analytical experience an asset
- Strong IT knowledge and usage (ie Microsoft Office package, especially Excel)
- Project management experience an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent Customer Service skills required.
Hours are 7:30am -4:30pm

Job Type: Full-time
Salary range: $46,000 to $52,000 based on experience. Plus an annual bonus (TBD) based company/personal performance.
Company 50/50 shared benefits plan will also be available after the three months’ probation with qualifying 50/50 shared dental after six months of employment with W.E. Greer Ltd.
