Executive and Marketing Assistant

Role Strategic Intent:

  1. Supports Marketing Initiatives through the creation and distribution of marketing materials, advertising and coordinating related vendor support.
  2. Supports the smooth functioning of the Administration office by providing executive support to the President/Controller and coordinating various office management activities (i.e. supply ordering/time sheet administration/mail and email flow, etc)

Key Mandates of the Position:

Marketing -

  • Creates/updates marketing material including advertisements, flyers, brochures, newsletters, catalogues, calendars, website, customer training support material
  • Negotiates media purchases.
  • Manages/facilitates corporate donation requests.
  • Supports, in concert with Director and President, corporate presence and strategy at tradeshows and other initiatives.
  • Prepares and submits market support claims from vendors.

Executive Assistant/Office Management –

  • Manages/coordinates purchase and procurement of sundry office supplies including copiers and communication equipment.
  • Manages and controls flow of internal/external mail, faxes, email, etc.
  • Maintains employee data base, including vacations, time sheets, personal contact information, new employee kits, etc.
  • Manages/Assists with scheduling of President’s itinerary/travel requirements. Sundry filing and reports.

Sundry Duties –

  • Daily bank deposit
  • Monthly bank reconciliation

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Print: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Video: Premiere Pro (Encore and After Effects would be beneficial)
  • Web: Dreamweaver, with HTML and CSS knowledge, knowledge of web graphic production
  • Some experience with an email delivery platform such as MailChimp

Experience:

  • 3+ years
  • Bachelors degree

Outside Sales Consultant - Fort McMurray, Part-Time

Service and grow the existing territory in Fort McMurray.

Core Tasks:

  • To demonstrate, promote, and sell products to existing as well as prospective customers
  • To walk customers through choosing the best products to fit their specific needs
  • To provide service and training as required

Task Details:

  • Generate new business through the maintenance of current customers, as well as establish new relationships with prospective customers by:
  • Presenting and demonstrating equipment
  • Researching and developing new high quality leads
  • Resolving customer issues
  • Working effectively with other departments (e.g. Service, Marketing) as well as our Fort McMurray office
  • Maintaining detailed call records and contact information to keep the company apprised of customer opportunities and requirements
  • Continued industry learning so as to communicate to your customers the best products and procedures for their specific needs
  • Staying abreast of competitive movements, marketplace trends, and other factors that may impact product sales for the company

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience in outside sales
  • Results oriented
  • Organized and efficient
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Superior written and verbal skills
  • Experience and comfort with current technology (e.g. tablets, smart phones, electronic forms, online ordering, etc)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Sales: 2 years
  • Valid driver's licence
